EURL-FV (2024-T11) Laboratory Triple-A approach for rating pesticide residue laboratories participating in EUPTs
Dear colleagues,
EURL-FV provides a series of formative tutorials related to difficulties, new MRM approaches, etc.... that can be encountered in routine laboratory work.
We would like to invite you to attend our Tutorial:
EURL-FV (2024-T11) Laboratory Triple-A approach for rating pesticide residue laboratories participating in EUPTs
In this tutorial we will learn to classify laboratories participating in Proficiency Tests for multiresidue analysis of pesticides according to the criteria established in the approach known as “Laboratory Triple-A Rating”.
The “Laboratory Triple-A rating” approach was proposed by Valverde et al. in 2016, and it is defined as a three-dimensional (X, Y, Z) classification with three different categories within each dimension. According to the “Laboratory Triple-A Rating”, laboratories participating in Proficiency Tests (PT) for multiresidue analysis are classified taking into account the number of detected pesticides (dimension X), the number of acceptable z-scores (dimension Y), and the number of false positives (dimension Z), considering three different categories (A, B, or C) in each dimension.
