Dear Colleagues,
We would like to announce the seventh European Proficiency Test for Pesticide Residues in special commodities (EUPT-FV-SC07, ground green coffee beans), organised by the European Union Reference Laboratory for Residues of Pesticides in Fruits and Vegetables on behalf of the European Commission, Health and Food Safety Directorate-General (DG-SANTE).
This EUPT-FV-SC07 is addressed to all National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) and all Official Laboratories (OfLs) in the EU Member States. Laboratories not belonging to this EURL/NRL/OfL-Network may participate on a case-by-case basis. Participation in this intercomparative study remains voluntary. Given the limited material available, registration forms will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
The test item, approximately 100 g of ground green coffee beans containing pesticide residues, will be shipped to participants on November 20th 2023.
No blank sample will be sent.
Laboratories have to determine the residue levels and report the concentrations for each of the pesticides that they detect. The participants can download the Target pesticide List clicking here (same as Mandatory Target list of EUPT-FV25):

This list of target pesticides also contains the Minimum Required Reporting Level (MRRL) for each pesticide.

If you are interested in participating, please fill in the application form by 31st October 2023 at the latest (We remind you that the registration forms will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis).
The sample delivery will be 250 € for EU NRLs and EU OfLs and 400 € for other countries.
Please, do not pay for this EUPT until we send you the invoice.
Remember to include your Laboratory Code in the subject of the bank transfer.
